As if there weren’t enough contenders battling it out in the many, many more-than-necessary GOP debates these days, it appears as though Gov. Chris Christie may enter the race, at the behest of the Anti-Romney Republican supporters, frustrated with Perry’s bumbling. But could Christie succeed? NYMag lays out five things the Right might hate about him—such as supporting “common sense gun control,” actually believing in climate change (!), and appointing a Muslim (double !) to NJ Superior Court—showing how he could be no different in this revolving door of GOP candidates. Although, he did just cut out the “Snooki subsidy,” a former tax break for the liberal, sex promoting production company behind MTV’s Jersey Shore. Plus he’s got some “rich…unattached” supporters. So, he’s got that going for him, which is nice.
